Birmingham Landmark Welcomes Hinges On Nico

The Holte Hotel is a famous Birmingham landmark which, following closure in 1978, has been renovated under the ownership of Aston Villa Football Club and re-opened as a public house, restaurant and function venue.

The striking Edwardian building has been completely refurbished to the highest standards after it fell into disrepair almost 30 years ago. The bar and restaurant is now open every day, with exclusive access to season ticket holders on match days.

The refurbishment project included the installation of new external and internal doors throughout. All the doors were fitted with Nice heavy duty hinges from the LoadPro range of high performance architectural hinges - specified by Aspex UK, the specialist architectural ironmonger.

LoadPro hinges are maintenance-free and guaranteed for up to 25 years under the most arduous conditions. Precision manufactured from heavy gauge steel of stringent ISO 9001:2000 standards, the complete range is fully-tested to relevant European approvals and CE-marked for fitting to fire and escape doors.

Ashley Burbery, MD of Aspex UK, explains the choice of Nico Hinges, saying: "The quality and finish of Nico Door Hinges are excellent and, with UK manufacture and sales, we can be sure of fast, friendly delivery and service."
