The Sky’s the limit at SED 2008 in the Cranes and Access Zone from May 13th – 15th at Rockingham Motor Speedway, in Corby Northamptonshire.

NRC Plant is bringing the largest crane ever to be seen at SED – the Hitachi SumitomoSCX2800-2, which is a massive 275 tonne crawler crane. A Hitachi X75UST 5 tonne telescopic crane will be suspended from the hook of the SCX2800-2 – which will make impressive viewing.

Universal have been working with the Chinese company, Zoomlion, which is one of China’s largest construction equipment manufactures. There are already a number of Zoomlion cranes which are currently being tried and tested in Europe but SED 2008 will see the UK debut of the Zoomlion 32tonne truck mounted telescopic crane and also the new Zoomlion 70tonne lattice boom crawler.

Universal will also be bringing a 10tonne Industrial ‘Pick and Carry’ Ormig crane, manufactured in Italy. Again this will be the first time this crane would have been seen in this country.
