A-Plant Invests £3m In GenSet Equipment

An environmentally conscious power equipment firm, GenSet plc has announced an order worth almost £3m from the leading UK hire firm, A-Plant.

A-Plant has invested in a package of products that includes the latest HireMan generators.

The single largest component of this order is for a selection of GenSet’s popular HireMan range of generators up to 150kVA. HireMan have a line of built-in features and optional extras that help save fuel, reduce noise, lengthen service intervals and decrease on-site breakdowns. Each unit has been fitted with the patented FuelActive fuel float system. This device ensures only clean fuel is drawn from the top of the tank, thus reducing the chances of breakdowns due to unclean fuel or condensation.

A-Plant power specialists and GenSet engineers worked closely together to develop this new range of HireMan sets - which offer reduced noise levels, improved fuel economy and a compact design.

Tony Grimshaw, A-Plant's Senior Purchasing Manager, concluded: "Once again, we are entirely confident that the investment we have made in this equipment, will be well supported by our preferred supplier, GenSet plc.

"We share in their innovative approach to producing machines that are efficient, reliable and sustainable in the modern environment," he said.
