Operating from a 70,00sq.ft factory in north Kent Masterhitch provide contractors, original equipment manufacturers and distributors throughout Europe with the most innovative quick hitch system, together with a comprehensive range of standard pin buckets, attachments, accessories and wear parts.
Masterhitch have invested heavily in state of the art production equipment including the latest CAD/CAM software, plasma cutters and computer controlled robotic welding technology. Customers benefit from the best possible products at really cost effective process.
Hitch up in seconds...
With the hydraulic Masterhitch system, operators can change tools on their own in seconds from the comfort and safety of their cab.
Down time is dramatically reduced and operator efficiency and effectiveness is significantly increased.
Maintaining original geometry...
The Masterhitch system maintains the original geometry of the machine and bucket with no adverse effect on the breakout forces, overall efficiency and fuel consumption. . . .
The Masterhitch range...
The Masterhitch system is available in both hydraulic and manual options in 2.5 - 4 tonne, 5 - 9 tonne, 10 - 15 tonne, 16 - 25 tonne and 26 - 36 tonne sizes.
All Masterhitches have the facility to use a manual safety-locking bar, which is a legal requirement in some countries.
The versatility of the Masterhitch system means that all Masterhitch attachments and accessories can be hitched up in seconds.
Since 1992, Masterhitch Europe Ltd has undergone major strategic expansion, to broaden the range of products and services available to customers. During the 1980's, the Managing Director investigated the major selling quick-hitch systems commercially available. Disappointed with the inadequacies his investigation revealed. Masterhitch was formed to design, develop and produce a truly user friendly system.
In 1995, the company was awarded a major prize at the National Innovation 2000 competition for an "Outstanding Contribution to Construction Technology".
During the latter half of 1996, following requests from the market, we expanded our product range to include manually operated hitches as an alternative to our current hydraulic ones. Adaptor plates were also introduced will allow the utilisation of Standard Pin Buckets with our Hitch. These items allow us to enter a new market area, which our forecast review has identified as having significant sales potential. We have also looked at producing a new General Purpose range of Standard Pin Buckets which will further extend our market reach and provide a cost effective solution to todays market.
