A new range of decorative column casings has been launched by Peterborough based casing system specialist, Encasement Limited, which provides architects, contractors and specifiers with a cost effective, aesthetic and versatile solution for concealing interior and exterior structural columns.
The 'n-case' range includes both circular and square column casings manufactured from 8mm pre-formed plywood, together with a choice of metal casings available in aluminium and stainless steel, which provide a high level of design flexibility and a wide choice of finishes.
'n-case' Circa and Quadra column casings enable circular, square and rectangular casings to be produced to suit applications in a range of sectors including education, retail, commercial and leisure.
Covering diameters from 250mm to 1000mm, Circa casings are available in a choice of laminated or real wood veneer finishes as well as a plain option for on-site finishing. In addition, for rapid solutions, an 'ex-stock' range of standard sizes and finishes is available within the Circa range, which can be delivered next day.
Quadra column casings maximise floor space by fitting closely to internal structural columns and can be configured for projects requiring square or rectangular solutions with sizes ranging from 300mm to 1200mm, allowing the maximum design flexibility in terms of the sizes and the wide choice of melamine, laminate and veneer finishes available.
The 'n-case' Forma range of metal column casings includes aluminium and stainless steel for use in both interior and exterior environments. A wide range of shapes is available, including circles, semi-circles, squares and rectangles, which are manufactured from choice of material thicknesses from 0.5mm to 3mm, depending on the specific project requirements.
Manufactured to meet precise project specifications using precision bending techniques for accuracy, Forma casings are also flexible enough to make installation a simple process and are ideally suited to ‘custom’ applications. Covering sizes from 250mm to 1000mm across all shapes in the range, they can be finished in a wide choice of powder coated finishes, patterns and perforations.
Encasement's Managing Director, Martin Taylor, explained: "Our n-case column casing range has been conceived as a complete range, capable of providing the level of aesthetics, choice, versatility and cost-effectiveness for which our products have already become well known by specifiers and contractors in a range of sectors. The n-case Circa, Quadra and Forma ranges provide customers with one of the widest ranges available as well as the opportunity of a next-day delivery service on selected products, sizes and finishes."
He added: "We've had a tremendous amount of success with the n-case Riva and Versa pipe casing ranges and our new column casing products not only extend our capabilities but also provide customers with the opportunity of specifying column casing and pipe boxing solutions from a single supplier."
