The University of Nottingham has invested significantly in its capital estate in recent times with the additional asset to the Humanities and Social Science department ensuring that the University will continue to compete with other national higher education establishments in attracting an ever increasing number of local, national and international students.

The Centre for Advanced Studies in the Arts and Social Sciences, based at the University Park Campus in Nottingham, will create a full integrated and highly efficient research and learning environment for research staff and students across two already, highly respected faculties.
The additional £10m facility will lend itself to a wide range of flexible and informal learning and development seminars and tutorials. Additionally, the renewed focus on providing a comfortable and relaxed social space is planned to enhance the overall University experience for both staff and students.
