Amanda Oliver, Projects Director for Priority Sites, commented: "We're delighted that our Evolution scheme has won this award.

"This is the fourth Priority Sites project we have awarded to Mayfield Construction, who we feel is a company that is always professional, pro-active and works to the highest quality."

The annual awards are organised by Staffordshire Building Control Group and recognise builders who achieve outstanding quality in their construction work particularly in relation to the building control process. Sites are evaluated against a comprehensive marking scheme before an independent panel of expert judges make the final decision. Mayfield was nominated for the award by Staffordshire Council Building Control Officer, Phil Kelsall.
