Miller Construction Scoops Seven 'Considerate' Accolades
Miller Construction (UK) Ltd collected seven accolades at the national Considerate Constructor Scheme (CCS) award ceremony on 17 March, the largest number ever won by the company at one event.
Miller Construction, an Associate Member of the CCS, was presented with three gold; one silver and three bronze awards at the ceremony at the Balmoral Hotel, Edinburgh. Miller received three of the six gold awards given at the event where 28 construction companies were acknowledged for their participation in the scheme.
Considerate Constructors is a national initiative which aims to improve the image of the construction industry by encouraging best practice beyond statutory requirements, and only the very best performing sites are recognised annually at the awards.
Robin Mackie, Chief Executive, Miller Construction, said: "To receive seven awards in the one day is exceptional and illustrates the quality of sites that we have throughout the UK. We consistently score above the national average on all of our sites, which is testament to our teams, but to have received all of these certificates on the one day is really a cause for celebration. CCS is an important body to help change the perceptions of the construction industry and I am delighted that seven of our site teams have been recognised for the role that they play in making this happen."
