Riverside Scoops Social Landlord Of The Year Title
Riverside has been crowned Social Landlord of the Year for the second consecutive year and also scooped the Customer Service Award at the Housing Excellence Awards.
Riverside is the only company in the history of the Housing Excellence Awards to be the sole recipient of two awards on the same night.
In the Social Landlord of the Year category Riverside was recognised for performing well in tenant and resident involvement; promoting communities that people feel safe and secure in; tackling anti-social behaviour, homelessness and social exclusion; being committed to local employment initiatives and; promoting equality and diversity.
In the Customer Service category the judges were impressed by Riverside's approach to monitoring and improving customer satisfaction; how it deals with vulnerable customers; and how it ensure openness and ease of access to services.
Professor John Tarn, Chairman of Riverside Board, said: "Winning Social Landlord of the Year last year was particularly special as it was our 80th anniversary. This year we have undergone a successful amalgamation and rebrand so to win the title again and also pick up the Customer Service Award is the icing on the cake."
