Double Triumph Shows British Gas Is A Great Place To Work

British Gas Business and British Gas Services have both been ranked among the UK's top 50 places to work.

It is the fifth year running for British Gas Business (BGB), leading to a Financial Times Laureate Award for companies that have maintained a position on the list for five consecutive years. So far, only 10 organisations have achieved that accolade. It's the second time for British Gas Services.

The Financial Times ranking was announced at the eighth annual UK's Best Workplaces Awards in London last night.

Badar Khan, BGB Managing Director, said: "To come in the UK's top 50 places to work again is a fantastic achievement. We've got a 'legendary' employee engagement score at BGB and this award just goes to prove that this means a great deal to the team."

The awards, run by the Great Places to Work Institute, were based on a survey plus an organisation questionnaire. It comes only two months after the Sunday Times ranking of British Gas as 17th in the list of top companies to work for.
