Steam To Water Heat Exchangers From Stokvis
The extended range of Econoplate steam-to-water packaged plate heat exchangers from Stokvis Energy Systems is available with heat outputs from 50kW to 850Kw providing hot, or low temperature hot water, when fed with steam.
The Econoplate E2-Series suits a variety of applications from domestic hot water generation for hospitals, hotels, flats and offices to swimming pool heating or more complex process heating.
Control is via a proportional integral derivative (PID) controller that modulates a fast-acting, 2-port motorised steam control valve and actuator fitted to the primary circuit.
The control panel incorporates function indicator lamps, fuses and high/low temperature alarm indicators. The panel includes an extra low voltage interlock circuit that can be used for an external safety disable circuit.
For enhanced safety the systems can be specified with a double valve set to have a standard valve and actuator as well as a dual action valve and actuator plus a high-limit thermostat. This system gives the same high temperature protection as the single combined dual action actuator/valve but with the added safety of having two separate valves.
The Econoplate E2-Series units are built around an epoxy-coated chassis containing the heat exchanger and with low water content and low thermal inertia suit systems requiring variable heat output.
Units are factory assembled and wired requiring only the electrical supply and the primary steam condensate system and secondary water circuits to be connected on site.
