Drain Mapping The Manchester Ship Canal
JTS Energy specialises in drain and pipe mapping and was formed in 1996 to challenge the utilities companies charging regime and we have been successful this year alone in receiving refunds of £290,000 from the Water companies, and because of our success we have been successful in negotiating terms with PEEL Holding the parent company of the Manchester Ship Canal Company to find out who and what is being discharged into the canal without a valid permit and if any company is abstracting from the canal .The Manchester Ship Canal Company is responsible to make sure no one is contaminating the canal through illegal discharge.

Our clients include Eriks, Kodak, Dairy Crest, Baker Petrolite, Rentokil, Shell, Enworks and Groundworks to name a few.
Using Thermal imaging Cameras help us to find hot pipe work running under the floor and in walls, they also show how energy is being wasted through poor insulation. One of the items that is shown is the amount of heat being emitted from central heating pipe work into a room so that even if you turn the radiators off the pipe work is still heating the room far more that the radiator, all hot pipe work should be insulated to save energy.
