Housing Group Appoints New Top Executive

Genesis Housing Group has announced the appointment of the Group's new Chief Executive.

Neil Hadden, currently Chief Executive of the Aldwyck Housing Group, will be joining Genesis in October.

He succeeds the outgoing Chief Executive, Anu Vedi, who will be retiring from the Group at the end of September.

Mr Hadden joined Aldwyck in 2005 and led it through significant growth, increasing its stock from 6,000 to 9,000 units over a four year period, at the same time, improving its customer service rating to 'top quartile' performance.

Genesis Chairman, Adrian Bell said that Mr Hadden was joining the Group at an exciting time.

He said: "The board is delighted to have appointed Neil Hadden to succeed Anu Vedi as CEO of Genesis.

"Under Anu's stewardship over the last ten years as CEO, Genesis has grown from an organisation managing some 10,000 units to a Group owning and managing over 38,000 units. In this time, Anu has helped Genesis develop into one of the most significant leaders of the RSL sector in the UK."
