Morgan Est Named Preferred Bidder For Central Networks Contract

Morgan Est, one of the UK's leading providers of infrastructure services, has been named as preferred partner to carry out a 10-year framework with Central Networks which could be worth an estimated £500 million.
The programme of works will include capital asset replacement and reinforcement to overhead lines and underground cables up to 33kV. Morgan Est will also carry out distribution plant replacement work up to 11kV, remedial work programmes, which includes broken insulators and plant, building and civil works.
Work will begin in April next year with Morgan Est working across Central Networks' eastern region.
Morgan Est's Managing Director, Mark Cutler said: "Being selected as preferred partner for this contract is a fantastic result for our utilities team and for the wider Morgan Est business, as Central Networks is one of our blue-chip customers who are committed to collaborative working. The contract will provide secure revenue and workload for the next 10 years. It builds on a strong relationship developed with Central Networks over the last decade and further reinforces our position in the electrical infrastructure sector."
