E6 Enhanced Glass Fibre From Jushi

With the rapid development of new applications, the design of glass fibre composite components is becoming increasingly demanding.

Composite materials are being required to deliver better performance, including increased strength, lighter weight and enhanced corrosion resistance. Jushi have developed a low boron, glass fibre with improved strength and modulus, higher temperature resistance and better chemical resistance. This new glass fibre, designated E6 has superior mechanical properties and excellent environmental durability which meets the requirements of the most demanding applications.


E6 is available in all the product and size coating combinations of the Jushi product range. GRPMS are able to supply E6 glass fibre in powder and emulsion chopped strand mats, gun roving, filament winding, weaving, pultrusion roving and chopped strands.

Also available in E6 glass are the Hengshi stitched products, including combination mats, multiaxials and polypropylene cored mat for RTM.
Environmental awareness has become increasingly important to producers and end users alike. E6 is made with a glass formulation which significantly reduces air pollutants during manufacture.
