ISP Launch Filoslim

ISP, part of the Filoform Group, have launched “Filoslim” a completely new and revolutionary design in low voltage Cable Jointing.

Only six basic components are required to make every type and size of Straight and Branch Cable Joint, and the difficulties associated with trying to make a cross cored or bent cable fit into an often oversized shell is eliminated because no shell is required. The “Filoslim” design is ideal for vertical, confined or limited spaces such as cable trays and troughs. The closed system uses less resin than the existing shell types thereby extra safety is assured by reducing possible contact with the resin, also less risk of leakage or air entrapment.

Because shells are not required and less resin is needed, means less space is required for storage and transporting by vans.

Filoslim has been independently type tested to BS 50393.
