Polyurea Seamless Coating
What is Pure Polyurea?
Prokol pure polyurea is CE certified; the products are a monolithic liquid coating that is spray applied at low temperatures. Eco Prokol pure polyurea contains zero VOC's and is manufactured using green chemistry. Most Prokol primers are non solvent based, whilst still achieving incredibly fast cure properties. The combination of products and technical application provides a practical solution when down time or access is limited.
Once applied, the coating will outlast most other systems available and provide the end user with a zero maintenance product with manufacturer warranties in excess of 30 years.
"Polyurea is a remarkable technology with a range of uses limited only by imagination"
CE certified Prokol pure polyurea liquid coatings
Manufacture: Prokol
As well as being the only manufacturer to have an independently tested CE certified pure polyurea, the company Prokol also produce and manufacture all associated products and systems "in house" ensuring full chemical crosslink. This is essential for long term performance characteristics for all seamless applications.
UK & Ireland distributor - Eco - Prokol
Environmental assessment - Life Cycle Analysis
Polyurea has an anticipated extended life cycle when compared to felt/bitumen/ tarmac based systems. Bitumen is known to degrade rapidly under influence of UV (sun light) and air (Oxygen) exposure. In weathering test such as the globally recognised QUV/Atlas Weather-o-metre test bitumen based systems show massive molecular degeneration (failure) after an equivalent period of 15 years. After 15 years the systems will need to be replaced or require extensive maintenance. Additionally, bitumen doesn't show low temperature flexibility and has a low melting range, known as "blown" and occurs at around 25 degrees centigrade.
Material wastage is minimal and is estimated at 3kg per 500kg applied. The product has excellent tensile strength combined with its impressive adhesion factors (strength equates to twice that of the substrate bond).
- Roofing - cold and warm systems
- Anti-slip and other flooring BS7976 Certification
- Protection - concrete, steel and many other substrates
- Fire rated multi use products
- Chemical bund lining
- Waterproofing and tanking BS6920 | Asbestos encapsulation
