| WATER-BASED STAINS Green Stain can be applied via airbrush, high volume low pressure unit (HVLP), production gun, pump (bug) sprayer, sea sponge and traditional bristle brush. For best results, create a “mist” of Green Stain on the intended surface. A variegated finish is achieved through the various absorbencies of the surface material as well as the differing specific gravities of the colour pigments. The application of several coats or the use of a roller results in a more monotone appearance [painted look]. Concrete sealer is recommended to extend the stain’s longevity. Green Stain is compatible with single and two-component epoxies, urethane, solvent and water-based sealers. Penetrating sealers (eg: sodium, potassium, lithium silicates) should not be used over GreenStains, but rather should be applied first. GreenStain can then be used on top of the sealer to achieve the desired colour. We can also supply the same colours in a more concentrated form that is suitable for use on walls and vertical surfaces. |  |
| TRAINING WORKSHOPS The Decorative Concrete world is a fast expanding one, with new technology and techniques offering ever more innovative ways of creating beautiful and durable concrete. We are offering workshops for participants to gain hands-on experience in many of these techniques. Our workshops are limited to 10-12 participants to ensure the best hands-on training possible. All training will be held at our workshop near Sherborne in Dorset, for which we will provide all refreshments and lunches. An accommodation list is available on request. |  |
