From landlords, housing associations and developers to large scale civil engineering contractors and consultants our expert team provides solutions to all Japanese Knotweed and invasive weed control requirements.
Simon York, our Invasive weed operations manager heads up our team and is experienced in all construction environments. Simon supervised the Japanese Knotweed eradication programme on Wembley Park and the site of a London based international event in 2012. His experience and reputation has led to Simon being involved in advising development design teams and environmental consultants on sites across the United Kingdom.
JAPANESE KNOTWEED ERADICATION
The treatment and eradication of Japanese Knotweed is a common requirement on construction and civil infrastructure projects in all areas of the country; it is said that there is not a single square kilometre in the UK that does not have Japanese knotweed growing within it. The cost to the UK economy of dealing with Japanese knotweed is estimated to in the region of £2 billion.
Three Shires uses the following techniques (or a combination of the below) to eradicate the JK:
As well as providing eradication solutions our team carry out JK and Invasive weed site surveys, produce detailed Invasive weed reports as well as precautionary methods of working and Japanese Knotweed management plans.
For many of our large construction clients we are able to provide Japanese Knotweed clerk of work services; this allows customers to use their on-site plant and resources under our instruction to deliver the remediation works. This reduces cost whilst maintaining best practice and compliance with legislation.
