Road Marking Services Ltd
White Lining
White lines were first laid in the UK at Ashford in Kent in 1914 and, since then, they have grown to become an essential part of road safety. We offer a comprehensive white line marking service here at RMS and, as such, offer a variety of marking solutions that are suitable for a host of purposes and environments.
Our dedicated team of highly skilled and experienced technicians work throughout Yorkshire, utilising innovative equipment and high quality products and materials to ensure a finished result which reflects your specifications, and which will provide years of service. White lining is ideal for a multitude of applications and can be used to delineate traffic lanes, inform motorists and pedestrians of road layouts and hazards, and outline sports courts and pitches.
Thermoplastic screed is the most commonly used material for white lining as it dries on contact and meets a host of performance standards. However, we do also provide other materials, such as epoxy and chlorinated rubber paint. Various grades of material are used to satisfy a number of differing requirements, including day time luminance, night time retro-reflectivity, skid resistance and wet night reflectivity.
Here at RMS we offer two types of Stone Resin Surfacing, Stoneways Stoneblend, resin bound surfacing and Stoneways Stonetop, resin bonded surfacing.
Our Stoneways Stoneblend is a high quality resin mixed and blended with a natural stone and trowelled to between 15mm and 50mm deep. This gives a porous slip resistant level surface with the stone encapsulated in the crystal clear resin.
