Ardula operate Grab Lorries which carry up to 18 cubic yards, the equivalent of 3 x 6 cubic yard skips. Suitable for waste soil and rubble.

This means you’ll get THREE skips worth away for much less than the price of TWO skips!

Tip: Remember that soil bulks up when you dig it out – estimate for almost twice the volume you are digging out as being the volume that will go on the lorry*. Call us if you are unsure.

*Another way to consider it is that most soils weigh about 2 tonnes for every cubic metre, and the grab lorry is restricted to carrying just over 15 tonnes. So work out your volume in cubic metres, multiply by 2 to calculate tonnage, and divide the answer by 15 to see how many loads you have.
